Every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm, we gather in one of our congregation’s homes for our Mid-Week House Meeting — a chance to come together, enjoy fellowship and be refreshed and encouraged in the things of the Lord.
House meetings are a relaxed, more streamlined version of our Sunday meeting. We usually begin with a few lively choruses, accompanied by a guitar or two, followed by one or two personal testimonies of what God is doing in people’s lives. There is a short Bible-based talk, the operation of the Spiritual Gifts, and time set aside for prayer.
If anyone has a particular need, there is also an opportunity to receive personal, hands-on prayer and support from the fellowship.
We finish the meeting with one last chorus — and then, naturally, it’s cuppa tea time! It’s a lovely opportunity to catch up, have a chat and enjoy one another’s company.
The location of our House Meeting changes from week to week. Details are announced each Sunday and can also be found on the monthly calendar available at the front desk of the Hall.
