Healed From An Empty Life

It’s been 34 years since I received the Holy Spirit and was baptised.

I was brought up as a catholic. But my brother-in-law told me that there was an experience to be had with the Lord, so this was at the back of my mind. Knowing one day I would have to do something about it.

Australia Day 1992, I got baptised underwater at White Swamp National Park. At home by myself a few weeks later God filled me with the Holy Spirit. And my life changed for the better. Drinking, smoking, swearing they all left - all things I tried to give up by myself but couldn’t.

With everything happening these days, the stuff you hear, everyone having an opinion. I don’t have to worry about anything because the Lord‘s got it. He’s got a plan. I just have to keep walking with Him.

It’s such a good life, God’s blessed me with a beautiful wife, always having plenty of work, never really getting sick, and just a great life. I’m forever grateful for what the Lord has done.
