My testimony started during a difficult time in my life when my marriage failed.  I thought what I had built up in my life, my work, my family and my marriage, was solid, and that’s where I placed my foundation. 

Then, in one day everything I had pride in was taken away.  Someone spoke to me about God, and how we should build our life with Him as the foundation. 

I never knew God was real.  I hoped, and sometimes I prayed about things, but that was as far as it went.  I was shown in the Scriptures that if I was to repent, and be baptised by full immersion, I could receive the Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues. 

And that’s exactly what happened when I was baptised.  Its been more than 10 years now since I made a commitment to God, and my life continues to grow, and get better. 

With God as my foundation, my fears of failure have been washed away, and I thank God He proved He was there to me.
