I had been praying for wisdom and understanding, for God to help me find the true Church — a Church that was built on the Bible, the word of God.
I spoke to many people about God and it wasn’t until I went to a Revival Fellowship meeting that all the questions I had been asking everyone were answered from the Bible.
It wasn’t "I think...", "We think..." or "This is what our Church believes...", it was shown to me from the Bible. There it was in black-and-white. I couldn’t doubt that — that’s what I had prayed for.
I was also shown how I could have a personal relationship with God — straight from the Bible. It was one of repentance being baptised by full aversion just like Jesus was and then asking God for the Holy Spirit.
I did repent and I was baptised by full immersion and when I asked for the Holy Spirit I knew I had received the Holy Spirit because I spoke in a new language. I spoke in tongues just like the apostles did on the day of Pentecost as it says in Acts 2:38. God answered my prayer and I knew I had found the true Church.
The Lord has blessed my life since that day. He has bought my family into His Truth, has blessed me with jobs, provisions and healed my body.
Last year, July 2025, I was diagnosed with stage three lymphoma cancer. It was aggressive and the word used by the cancer doctor was "insidious". I knew without a doubt that God would heal my body.
The Lord placed people on my path that first week of diagnosis who gave me a to-do list. This included diet changes and taking supportive supplements. I went through chemo and radiation with minimal side-effects and praising the Lord for this. I’m also very humbled by the people who prayed for me what a blessing to be in this supportive fellowship.
I went for my last PET scan 1st May 2026 and it was completely clear. No cancer detected. What a mighty miracle from my God. I thank Him every day for the life that He has given me.
